Call for proposals 2025 - Industry (HORIZON-CL4-2025-01)

Objectives
This call mobilises research and innovation to reinforce European industrial leadership, resilience and open strategic autonomy throughout the green and digital transitions. Destination 1 promotes climate-neutral, circular and digitised value chains by advancing Made-in-Europe manufacturing, twin transition technologies and decarbonised energy-intensive industries. Destination 2 focuses on strategic raw materials and innovative advanced materials, backing secure, sustainable supply, circularity and Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design chemicals. Destination 4 stimulates technological sovereignty in emerging digital technologies through artificial-intelligence foundation models and other enabling technologies. Destination 6 supports human-centric innovation, standardisation, knowledge valorisation and Industry 5.0 experimentation.

Altogether, the 28 topics nurture partnerships such as Made in Europe, Processes4Planet, Clean Steel, Raw Materials for the Green and Digital Transition, Textiles of the Future and GenAI4EU. Proposals are expected to accelerate deployment of net-zero and circular solutions, reinforce EU policy goals including the Net-Zero Industry Act and the Critical Raw Materials Act, and deliver measurable impacts on competitiveness, sustainability, skills and data-driven innovation.
