Call for proposals 2025 - MSCA Doctoral Networks (HORIZON-MSCA-2025-DN-01)
Ανοιχτή Πρόσκληση
Objectives
MSCA Doctoral Networks 2025 strengthen Europe’s talent pipeline by funding international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary doctoral programmes delivered by consortia of universities, research infrastructures, businesses (including SMEs) and other socio-economic actors. Projects are expected to produce highly skilled researchers able to tackle emerging challenges, convert knowledge into innovative products and services, and communicate scientific evidence to policy-makers and society.
Expected outcomes include new research and transferable skills for doctoral candidates, improved employability inside and outside academia, and enhanced networking and visibility. For participating organisations, the action should raise the quality, relevance and sustainability of doctoral training, intensify knowledge transfer between sectors and disciplines, build R&I capacity and boost international attractiveness. Proposals must employ open, transparent and merit-based recruitment; develop a Career Development Plan for each researcher; embed Open Science, research integrity and Green Charter principles; and may incorporate Industrial Doctorates or Joint Doctorates leading to double or multiple degrees.
Training activities should respond to clearly identified needs, exploit complementarities among partners, and include substantial modules on transferable skills, innovation and entrepreneurship. Inter-sectoral and international secondments are encouraged to widen exposure and increase employability. The overall indicative EU contribution is €597.8 million, with proposals invited against a single topic (HORIZON-MSCA-2025-DN-01-01).
