Our vision for Special Account for Research Funds, is to consolidate its leading role and to be a national model in attracting and managing funded programs and in disseminating research results for the benefit of the University, society and national economy.

 

The Special Account for Research Funds (ELKE) is the university institution created to meet the special needs of research activity. In particular, ELKE facilitates the distinction between research and teaching and  also facilitates the provision of external funding for research management and related activities.

ELKE is responsible for the financial management of all types of funds necessary for research, education, training, technological development, continuing education projects and for the provision of scientific, technological and other related services or activities that contribute to the connection of education and research with industrial production and practical applications.

The administrative structure that financially and administratively supports the Special Account for Research Funds of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, is the Financial and Administrative Support Unit (MODY) of ELKE.
